MFPL Flash Video Publisher

Welcome to the May First/People Link flash video publisher. Below are the directions for how to use the publisher. Keep these directions open in a window so you can follow them while also having the publisher and the viewer open.

When you are ready to begin:

1. start the publisher.
   1. Right click in the box that says Red 5 and choose Settings...
   2. Click the Allow radio button and the Remember checkbox and click close
   3. Click Server tab (half way down the screen)
   4. In Location, type: rtmp://b.stream.mayfirst.org/oflaDemo and click connect
   5. Click the video tab and select your camera from the list and click start
   6. Click the audio tab and select your audio device from the list and click start
   7. In the box above, enter a unique, un-used name that does not have spaces (for example: plenary-wef) in the "Name" box.
   8. Click Publish
2. View. To view what you are creating, go to: http://live.mayfirst.org/view/flash/NAME-GIVEN-ABOVE. For example, http://live.mayfirst.org/view/flash/plenary-wef
